Rasmus (Sire)
Rasmus is the heart of our breeding program. He is a sweet, affectionate Basenji who loves to curl up on the couch with his family. With his playful nature and eager-to-please personality, he embodies the wonderful temperament we strive for in all of our puppies.

Meet Quail - Tiger Brindle Dam
Quail is one of our beloved breeding females and we think the best way to understand her puppies is to understand her first.
She is a Tiger Brindle - a striking coat pattern with roots in the Basenji lineage of Central Africa - and she carries herself with all the confidence that implies. But spend five minutes with her and you’ll discover she is also an absolutely amusing girl.
Quail is curious about everything. Nothing escapes her notice and she will supervise whatever you are doing. She is social, attentive and deeply people oriented. She loves being held and cuddled. She has a strong opinion that she should be the center of attention at all times. She will make you laugh daily without any effort.
She is playful and silly well into adulthood, and has a particular obsession with the garden hose - she will chase that water stream with the kind of pure, unfiltered joy that reminds you why you got a Basenji in the first place.
What does this mean for her puppies? Expect curious, engaged, affectionate little personalities. Basenjis who want to be with you. Watching, playing, snuggling and making you smile. Quail passes on her love of people and her lively comedic spirit.

Anubis (Sire)
Meet Anubis - Tricolor Sire
His name was chosen well. Anubis carries himself with the quiet authority of something ancient. A tricolor Basenji with markings so clean and deliberate they look intentional, like he was painted that way on purpose.
His coat tells a story at a glance: rich won ribbons flowing through a bold tricolor pattern, four white paws and a brisket so clean and well-defined it is one of the first things you notice. Look closer and you will find his eyebrow pips, tan markings above his eyes that give him an expression of constant, focused curiosity. Expressive, attentive and undeniable striking.
Anubis is genuinely a pleased to live with. He trains easily, responds eagerly and seems to understand how to please his people. He moves with a smooth, effortless gait, balanced and fluid in a way that speaks to sound structure and good breeding. His is social and friendly with other dogs and deeply bonded to his owner. A willing companion whether that means a backyard afternoon or a weekend camping under the stars.
He is attentive, playful, and obedient in a way that feels less like compliance and more like partnership.
